  • ​​​Before any treatment, a consultation is required to discuss suitability. 

  • Skincare preparation is recommended before treatment, stopping active skincare 5 days before to minimise skin irritation. 

  • Avoid any excessive sun exposure or tanning agents before your treatment

  • Cleanly shaven before treatment, preferably on the day 

  • Some medications can increase the risk of bruising, please speak to your therapist if you have concerns.

  • Notify your clinician if you have had cold sores ,as the treatment may activate the virus

  •  Have Vitiligo or have skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis and/or dermatitis 

  • Melasma can be treated with caution

Dermapen microneedling is quick, comfortable, and doesn’t require numbing cream. It’s 104% faster than other devices, creating up to 1,920 rejuvenating microchannels per second. The products used in these channels are just as crucial for results. Cosmetics By Briony infuses the Signature Hyaluronic Acid formula, HylaFuse™, which features three molecular sizes to target different skin depths, with the smallest molecules delivering potent active ingredients deep into the skin.

  •  For optimal results, several treatments may be required, spaced a few weeks apart.

  • We encourage the Ultraceauticals Post-Treatment Essentials Kit is perfect for managing your skin pre and post-treatment.

  • Wearing SPF to protect the skin from sun exposure is crucial, as microneedling can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.

  •  Some redness, light bruising and swelling may occur immediately after the treatment, but these typically subside within a few hours to a few days.

Not Suitable for Treatment  

  • Sun Exposure or Fake Tan

  • Currently  using topicals that may irritate within the last two weeks, e.g. Efudex, corticosteroids

  • Taking  Roaccutane 

  • Have an active skin infection

  • Have an active Skin cancer or a suspicious lesion
